PHYSICAL FITNESS
Having a good healthy life and perfect body is what everyone
wish to have. These can only be achieved by physical fitness. Maintaing a
proper healthy diet and being physically
fit and strong can help to you to achieve success in life.
Physical fitness is a state of health and wellbeing and more
specifically the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily
activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical
exercise, and sufficient rest.
Fitness is defined as the quality or state of being fit. A
well rounded fitness programme improves a person in all aspects of fitness
compared to practicing only one , such as only cardio/respiratory endurance or
only weight training. For physical fitness activity to benefit an individual ,
the exertion triggers a response called stimulus. Exercises with the correct
amount of intensity, duration and frequency can produce a significant amount of
improvement.
The person may overall feel better, but the physical effects
on the human body takes weeks or months or months to notice and possibly years
for full development.
Physical fitness has proven to result in controlling blood
pressure, cancer prevention, boost immune system, improves mental health etc.
to achieve some of these benefits, the centres of disease control and
prevention suggest at least 30-60 minutes of exercise 3-5 times a week.
The purpose of choosing these topic is to spread awareness
and motivate others and drive the attention towards physical fitness. Due to
busy life people don’t get time to pay attention towards their physical health
which in future can lead to many health problems. So we to be fit and healthy
we must give attention to physical fitness as well.
